The surprise provision hidden in Obamacare that protects gun owners from data collection on registration on guns and ammo is great for us now, but what happens when, or if, Obamacare is taken off the books? Whatever happens in the future, this provision protects and helps our interests now, which will eliminate the “data collection” issue, when they’re trying to pass gun control legislation in the coming weeks.
A nice, solid back-up to the Second Amendment is the “Dick Act of 1902,” which can’t be repealed and permits American citizens to keep and bear arms of any type–and that “any type” provision may come in handy for long guns. This little-known legislation, HR 11654, signed on June 28, 1902, invalidates all gun control laws. It was obvious crafted by Congress to strengthen the Second Amendment.
