I am truly sorry for the lost lives in this tragedy. Young people trying to make a living in this world do not deserve to pay for the actions of a few disgruntled unhappy people. However, I am surprised this does not happen more often. People should truly look at how horribly Family Dollar treats its employees. They work their managers to the bone, give them very little labor, and expect miracles, all while being led by “District Managers” that would not make it anywhere else. They put very little back into their stores, and the product is less than acceptable. People give Wal-Mart a hard time, as well they should, but Family Dollar has got to be one of the worst companies to ever work for. I spent one horrible year of my life as a Manager, and I would do ANYTHING other than work for that company again. The leadership should truly be ashamed.
God bless the families of all involved
