This is a very important foundational concept as to why the Founding Fathers amended the Constitution with the 2nd Amendment.

Remember:  Most government’s track records throughout the course of history have been terrible.  Just look at what is taking place in the middle east and review the major players before and during WWII and that is enough proof.

The answer as to why the Japanese Imperial Forces did not INVADE the United States in WWII is clearly evident in this quote:

Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto – “You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass”.
