Hearing Scheduled for H.R. 822, the National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2011

This is a very important bill that supports the 2nd Amendment that would allow law abiding citizens to protect themselves while traveling.  My wife just took a long trip cross country in her car and it would have been nice for her to know that she was OK and not breaking any laws carrying concealed as she traveled cross-country.

Additionally, more states need to pass “Castle Doctrine” laws that people have the right to protect themselves against threats to their lives in their domicile (homes) and that their vehicle is considered an extension of their home or “Castle”.
