Donald J. Trump on the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. The Second Amendment to our Constitution is clear. The right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed upon. Period.

  1. While I like these statements from Donald Trump, they don’t necessarily jive with his statements and actions.

    Some of this, like his previous support for waiting periods and the assault weapons ban (remember he was a Clinton supporter at the time) could be attributed to a change in his point of view. It could also be pandering to his voter base, like he attacks “politicians” for doing. We can’t know that without knowing him personally.

    Trump properties and headquarters have been “gun free zones” for years. If that has changed it has only been since he was called out on it during one of the debates. While those signs and HR policies applied to his employees and visitors removing their right to self-defense, they did not apply to Trump or his security detail. Another thing he attacks “politicians” for doing; creating rules and laws that apply to us but not them…

    Please don’t take this as a bash on Trump (many, I have found defend him with the same religious fervor Obama’s supporters display). I am simply trying to make people aware so that, maybe, someday, the question will be asked of him.

      Good job, im glad to hear someone else asking these questions, I have been wondering myself , where he truly stands on our 2nd amendment issues.these are very important to us
