ANY & ALL Ruger MK II owners who have disassembled their gun for cleaning know what we are talking about!!!  This $14 part is worth every RED CENT!!  This essentially converts your MKII to the new & improved MK IV.

This part was just recently covered in “Guns & Ammo” Handguns Dec/Jan issue page 12 if anyone is interested the author goes through a step by step process on how to install the part.

The MAIN issue is making sure that you only tap the Sear Spring Stop Pin out far enough to get the strut in place.  The author states that 3/4″s out is fine to get the strut in place.  Obviously the part will come with instructions as well.
